Is It Worth The Hype? Featuring NARS “Cool Crush” Eye Palette

Hot Hot! New Palette Alert!

Okay gals. So everyone has been talking about the NARS new “Cool Crush” eye shadow palette. In today’s post we will be reviewing the new trendy product and if it’s worth all the hype!?

First Impression: First let me start with how amazing the packaging is. It really gave me that metallic glamorous vibe that I can totally see myself wearing this for future special occasions. As I looked more into the product it really reminded me of a time where I could have totally matched this with my intense but glamorous outfit I wore back last year to a special party. It definitely gave me a great first impression!

Highly Recommended For: I recommend this palette for those who enjoy the intense look and who adore those shimmery shades. If you are more of a matte person then this palette is not for you. The palette has more than half of shimmer shades. If you are really feeling this palette then you can use the shimmer shades for the inner eye lids for a intense but yet matte look!

Shades Included:

  • Soft Chill – Light beige with gold shimmer
  • Sexed – Shimmering light gold
  • Superclass – Metallic tan opal
  • Nylon – Matte nude
  • Fresh Cut – Warm brown with gold
  • Inception – Metallic turquoise with gold shimmer
  • Prowl – Shimmering pink rose
  • Shake It – Shimmering melon
  • Feist – Metallic gold bronze
  • Ganges – Shimmering teal
  • Risk – Matte sienna
  • Isolde II – Shimmering cooper

Was It Worth The Hype? I’d say yes! Hands down NARS has some great products. The shadows on this palette are super highly pigmented as well as the shadow colors are definitely a plus for that night out look or even a soft touch look. For a soft touch of course use the less intensified shadows. On the plus side, some of the shadows can be used as a highlighter!
